# Community Structure

**DAO Governance**

NODELINK operates under a DAO structure, allowing community members to actively participate in governance. Voting rights will be allocated based on contributions and engagement, ensuring all stakeholders have a meaningful voice in the project's direction.

**Standby Management Board (SMB)**

The Standby Management Board (SMB) is elected by the community for a term of 12 months. Responsibilities of the SMB include:

\- Representing NODELINK in negotiations with potential and unicorn partners.

\- Facilitating communication between community members and stakeholders.

\- Ensuring alignment of projects with NODELINK’s values and goals.
